Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter, soft
- 100g bacon
- ½ onion(s), red
- 1 large garlic clove(s)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp chili flakes or amount to taste
- e.g. parsley
- possibly oil

perfect for barbecue season
Preheat the oven to 230°C and bake the bacon for 8-10 minutes until crispy. Alternatively, you can fry the bacon in a pan. Then let it absorb the fat on kitchen paper. Finely chop the onion and garlic and mix with the crumbled bacon. Mix the butter with salt and pepper, add the bacon mixture, and mix everything until smooth. If the butter is too solid, simply add a little oil. Season with chili flakes and, if desired, salt and pepper. A little parsley gives the butter a little extra color. The bacon butter tastes great grilled on baguette or with grilled vegetables.
