Shrimp Burger

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g shrimp
  • 300 g minced beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings of your choice, e.g. bacon, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, …

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Put the shrimp through a meat grinder, or if you don’t have one, puree them with an immersion blender. Be careful, the mixture will stick. Then knead it with the ground beef and seasoning. Form the meat mixture into 150g patties and fry or grill. In the meantime, mix the sauce from ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Prepare the burger buns according to the package instructions and top with the patties and any other ingredients you like.
