Bacon Pancakes and Kaiserschmarren with Apple Compote

Ingredients
 

  • 5 Eggs
  • Flour to taste
  • Milk to your taste
  • 1 packet Bacon slices
  • 1 glass Applesauce
  • 2 tsp Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Bake a thick pancake for the Kaiserschmarren. (see my KB semolina dumplings and pancake soup)
  • Dust the pancakes with powdered sugar and serve with applesauce.
  • Usually you add raisins, but my husband doesn't like them.
  • For the bacon pancake, simply place pancake batter in the pan, place bacon strips on top, and finish baking the pancake on both sides.
  • Everything simple but very tasty.
