Bacon Pancakes and Kaiserschmarren with Apple Compote

The perfect bacon pancakes and kaiserschmarren with apple compote recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 piece Eggs
  • Flour to taste
  • Milk to your taste
  • 1 packet Bacon slices
  • 1 glass Applesauce
  • 2 teaspoon Powdered sugar
  1. Bake a thick pancake for the Kaiserschmarren. (see my KB semolina dumplings and pancake soup)
  1. Dust the pancakes with powdered sugar and serve with applesauce.
  1. Usually you add raisins, but my husband doesn’t like them.
  1. For the bacon pancake, simply place pancake batter in the pan, place bacon strips on top, and finish baking the pancake on both sides.
  1. Everything simple but very tasty.
