Baguette with Parmesan butter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 120 g Parmesan cheese (in a piece)
  • 300 g butter, soft
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 baguette(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mince the garlic, finely grate the Parmesan cheese, and stir both into the softened butter (best done with a hand mixer). Season the butter with salt and cayenne pepper (carefully!). Cut the baguette into 2-3 cm thick slices, spread with the Parmesan butter, and toast under a hot grill for 2-4 minutes. It tastes great as a side dish with salad, grilled food, or on its own with beer or wine.
