Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 20 stalk(s) asparagus
- 1 tsp, levelled powdered sugar
- 4 pinches of salt
- 30 g butter

Peel the asparagus and place them side by side on a baking sheet. Dust with powdered sugar to neutralize the bitterness. Use less powdered sugar at the end of the asparagus season. Season the asparagus with a little salt and dot with butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 165°C for 55-60 minutes. Arrange the cooked asparagus on plates and serve with boiled potatoes. The asparagus-butter broth makes an excellent sauce for the potatoes. For the asparagus itself, I recommend a hollandaise sauce.
