Baked Asparagus with Lemon Butter
The perfect baked asparagus with lemon butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Asparagus white
- 50 ml Vegetable broth
- 50 ml White wine
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 100 g Butter
- 1 Lemon
- Salt
- Pepper
- Preheat the oven to 200c.
- Peel the asparagus, cut off the woody ends and place in a buttered dish
- Mix the stock, wine and sugar and pour over the asparagus in the oven and cook for 30 minutes until al dente.
- Mix the soft butter with the grated zest of the lemon and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, season with salt and pepper.
- After 25 minutes, spread the butter on the asparagus and finish cooking.
