Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 tbsp oil (vegetable oil)
- 500 g beans, white, cooked
- 5 tbsp syrup (dark molasses)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, ground
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 100 ml vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tbsp whiskey
- 50 ml puree (tomato puree)
- 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Dice the onion and fry in hot oil. Add the beans and fry. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer the beans for 20-25 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
