Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 tbsp oil (vegetable oil)
  • 500 g beans, white, cooked
  • 5 tbsp syrup (dark molasses)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, ground
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 100 ml vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp whiskey
  • 50 ml puree (tomato puree)
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion and fry in hot oil. Add the beans and fry. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer the beans for 20-25 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
