  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp, heaped pesto (cucumber pesto), in my recipes
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Singles Dinner No. 170

Briefly sear the meat on both sides in hot oil and season. Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes. Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan oven). Place the steaks in a greased baking dish and spread with pesto. Top the pesto first with tomato slices, then with mozzarella slices, and season. Place the dish on the middle rack of the oven and bake for approximately 10-15 minutes. Arrange the gratinated steaks on a plate, garnish, and serve. I served it with ciabatta and herb butter. 795 kcal per serving.
