Baked Butternut

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 butternut squash
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt (blueberry vanilla salt), recipe at Chefkoch
  • 5 tbsp neutral oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

baked butternut squash, vegan

Halve the butternut squash and remove the seeds. Score the squash with a sharp knife. Combine the remaining ingredients and spread over the squash. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 30-45 minutes (depending on the size). Brush occasionally with the juices collected in the squash’s “hole.”
