Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 150 g cheese (Brie)
- 2 chicory
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp liquid honey
- 8 stalks of thyme
- Salt
- pepper
- 8 slices of breakfast bacon
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cut the Brie cheese into 3 mm thick slices. Trim the chicory and halve it lengthwise, cutting out the stalks into wedges. Melt the butter, honey, and thyme in a pan, then place the chicory cut-side down in the foaming honey butter and cook over medium heat. Remove the chicory and arrange two thyme sprigs on each cut side. Season with salt and pepper. Distribute the Brie on the chicory halves and wrap each with two slices of bacon. Place everything in an ovenproof dish, spread the remaining honey butter over it, and then bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
