Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 375 ml milk
- 180 g Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp Parmesan
- Salt and cayenne pepper
- Mustard
- 250 g pasta (macaroni)
- 80 g breadcrumbs

Macaroni and Cheese Casserole
Cook the pasta al dente according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, melt 2/3 of the butter in a pan. Stir in the flour, gradually adding the milk while stirring. Simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Mix the pasta with the sauce and pour everything into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, dot with butter, and bake in the oven at medium temperature for 30 to 40 minutes.
