Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g margarine
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp water, cold
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 10 olives with pepper filling

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Mix margarine, flour, and salt into a greasy dough. Beat the egg in a cup and add half to the dough. Knead the dough with cold water and refrigerate for 1 hour. Use a wooden spoon handle or coring knife to make a hole lengthwise through the peeled sausage. Stuff the sausage with olives. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, fitting the length of the sausage. Wrap the dough tightly around the sausage and place it on the baking sheet, seam-down. Brush with the remaining egg and bake in a preheated oven at 210°C for about 30 minutes, until the dough is light brown and cooked through.
