Leberkäse pockets with white cabbage salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry (275 g each)
  • 1 pack of Leberkäse (6 slices)
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 6 tbsp, heaped white cabbage salad
  • 6 tsp mustard, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

inexpensive, simple and delicious

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Roll out the puff pastry and cut each into 6 equal pieces (this is best done with a pizza cutter). Top each with the Leberkäse (meatloaf). Spread the Leberkäse with sweet mustard and arrange the coleslaw on top. Brush the edges with the beaten egg and cover with the other 6 pastry sheets. Press the edges together with a fork and brush with the remaining egg. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the desired browning.
