Baked Mice – Donuts

The perfect baked mice – donuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 40 g Sugar
  • 15 g Yeast fresh
  • 200 g Flour
  • 30 g Butter
  • 1 piece Organic egg
  • 0,25 teaspoon Salt
  • Frying oil
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Weigh all ingredients and put them ready. Warm the milk to lukewarm.

Pre-dough yeast start-up

  1. Crumble the yeast in about 1/3 of the warmed milk and stir until it is dissolved, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of the weighed flour and stir. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

  1. Put the flour in a bowl, add the remaining milk, egg, salt, sugar and butter, everything should be room temperature. Then add the yeast and stir well with the dough hook. Since I had an L-egg, I added 1 additional tablespoon of flour. Dust the dough with flour and cover the bowl and let it rest in a warm place (next to a heater) for two hours.
  2. When the batter has doubled, stir briefly. Heat the oil in the deep fryer. The dough is very soft, remove with a tablespoon of dough and bake in the hot fat (140 degrees) until golden brown, turn, then drain on kitchen paper.
  3. Dust with icing sugar while it is still hot. Simply delicious!
