Baked minced meat – flatbread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 2 bell peppers, yellow
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp chili sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Sear the minced meat. Finely slice the spring onions and add them. Finely chop the garlic and add it as well. Sauté everything briefly. Meanwhile, dice the bell peppers and add them. Then add the pizza tomatoes and let the whole thing simmer for 5-10 minutes. In the meantime, slice the flatbread lengthwise, spread the crème fraîche on top, and preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Season the contents of the pan with salt and pepper and spread it evenly between the two flatbread halves. Drizzle with the chili sauce to taste. Sprinkle with cheese. Place the whole thing on two baking sheets and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. The bread is ready when the cheese is golden brown.
