Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slices of toast
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • herb butter
  • basil
  • 200 g cheese (Edam), grated
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spread the untoasted slices of bread evenly on a baking sheet. Spread the slices thinly with herb butter. Slice the mushrooms and arrange them on the toast. Season with chili powder, garlic powder, basil, and pepper, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
