Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ pear(s), approx. 90 g
  • 120 g morello cherries or fresh pitted sweet cherries
  • 140 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 50 ml water
  • 50 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 60 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 10 g marzipan paste, fine
  • 10 g almond flakes
  • 1 tsp sugar, brown

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 10 hours 20 minutes

Oat flakes and quark casserole without egg, with marzipan, pear, cherries and almonds

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the water and milk with the marzipan in a saucepan. Stir until the marzipan has dissolved. Then stir the oats and quark into the milk mixture. Core the pear half and cut into pieces. Grease a small casserole or springform pan (max. 20 cm) or line it with aluminum foil, and arrange half of the sliced ​​pears and half of the cherries in the pan. Pour the oat mixture evenly over the fruit and top with the remaining fruit. Place in the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes (depending on the desired firmness). Just before the end of the baking time, sprinkle the almonds and sugar over the oatmeal. Bake until the sugar has caramelized and the almonds are lightly browned. Makes one large or two small portions.
