Peel the onions, boil them in lightly salted water until half cooked, then drain and halve them. Brush a baking dish with the oil. Layer the halved onions, cut-side up, and season with salt and pepper. Wash and finely chop the parsley, then sprinkle over the onions. Drizzle a little more oil over the onions, then bake in a preheated oven at about 150°C (convection oven) for about another hour. The onions serve as a side dish with meat dishes. One serving contains 189 kcal for four people.
