Baked Parisian rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bread roll (Parisian roll), alternatively baguette
  • 1 tbsp, heaped bacon, diced
  • 2 tbsp, heaped sauerkraut
  • 2 tbsp, heaped crème fraîche
  • Caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Halve the roll lengthwise. Mix the bacon (e.g., diced bacon) with the sauerkraut and crème fraîche, adding a little caraway seeds. Spread the mixture evenly on both roll halves and place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 8-10 minutes on the top rack. It can be eaten as a snack or with a nice salad. Since every oven is slightly different, you may need to experiment to find what works best for you.
