Baked plaice

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 fish fillets (plaice fillets) approx. 350 – 400 g
  • 400 g broccoli
  • 90 g mozzarella, grated
  • 40 g mustard, medium hot
  • 180 g potatoes, cooked
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 g ground almonds
  • n. B. onion(s)
  • e.g. chili pepper(s)
  • Salt
  • Tarragon, dried
  • curry powder
  • Parsley
  • basil
  • oregano
  • rosemary

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash the broccoli. Trim the florets and cut the stalk into thin strips. Dice the potato, finely chop the onion and chili. Sauté the broccoli for about 3 minutes. Whisk the egg with the mustard, milk, and oil, stir in the almonds and a little less than half of the mozzarella, and season well. Score the plaice fillets into diamond shapes, massage in the chili and half of the onions. Place half of the potatoes and the remaining onion in a small pile in a baking dish, then arrange the broccoli in a circle around the potatoes. Place the fish on top of the pile of potatoes and cover with the remaining potatoes. Pour the sauce over the potatoes, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 20 minutes.
