Baked pointed cabbage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small head of pointed cabbage, approx. 400 g
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g minced beef
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Paprika powder, sweet
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 stalks of thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean, wash, and quarter the pointed cabbage, then sauté it in a pan for about 5 minutes while still dripping wet. Dice the onions and sauté them in hot oil in a pan. Add the minced meat, fry until crumbly, and season. Crumble the feta cheese, mix with the sour cream, and season with pepper and a few thyme leaves. Layer the cabbage and minced meat in a greased baking dish. Pour the sauce over the cabbage. Bake on the top rack of an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining thyme to serve. Serve with potatoes.
