Baked pork fillet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork fillet(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g fat
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 200 g ham
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • ¼ vegetable stock cube
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese spread
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the pork fillet into thick slices, season with salt and pepper, and sear in a pan. Grease the pan and add the meat. For the sauce, finely dice the onion and sauté in the pan drippings. Dice the ham and add it. Pour in 1/8 liter of water and 1/4 of a stock cube, then mix with the cream and cream cheese. Pour the sauce into the pan with the fillet, cover with Emmental cheese, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Serve with spaetzle and fried onions.
