Baked rice in tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 tbsp rice
  • 350 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp pineapple pieces
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • ½ onion(s), diced
  • some salt and pepper
  • 80 g Emmental cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick and easy

Cook the rice in salted water until almost tender. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the remaining ingredients, except the cheese, in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Drain the rice, add it, and mix everything together. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the rice and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
