Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 g salsify, frozen
- 200 ml water
- some lemon juice
- some lemon zest
- Salt
- 4 tbsp Parmesan
- 4 slices of cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Thaw the salsify. Then cook in lemon-salted water for about 10 minutes, until tender enough to bite. Drain. Transfer to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, or more if you like, then scatter the cheese over the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. The cheese can get crispy. For a main course, I would increase the amount.
