Baked sour cream potatoes

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 kg potatoes, small, waxy
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • salt and pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • 150 g cheese, medium-aged Gouda
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

great as a side dish or meatless main course

Peel and wash the potatoes, and halve them if necessary, depending on their size. Mix the sour cream with the cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Place the potatoes in a greased baking dish and drizzle with the sour cream. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan oven) for about 1 1/2 hours. Finely grate the cheese. About 20-30 minutes before the end of the cooking time, sprinkle the cheese over the potatoes and bake.
