Baked soured cabbage

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 head of white cabbage
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 package of cheese, grated, e.g. Emmental
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper or spices to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Halve the cabbage, remove the stem, and chop it into small pieces. Boil the cabbage in salted water for about half an hour until tender. Drain the cabbage, stir in the sour cream, and season to taste. Place everything in a casserole dish, top with tomato slices, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes. You can serve it with potatoes, but the cabbage can also be eaten on its own.
