Macaroni casserole with salami

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g macaroni
  • 150 g salami, preferably different varieties
  • 200 g cheese, mild to spicy
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml cream
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Dice the salami and cheese, halve the tomatoes, and chop the parsley. I use small macaroni; if I don’t, break the long macaroni into pieces. Cook in salted water until al dente, then drain the macaroni and place it in a baking dish. Mix the halved tomatoes, salami, and cheese with the pasta. Mix the cream with the eggs, grated nutmeg, salt, pepper, and parsley. Pour this mixture over the pasta and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). I use fan-assisted oven.
