Baked spinach

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g spinach, frozen
  • 1 large tomato(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 50 ml milk
  • 10 g cheese (grated cheese)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Defrost the spinach in a pan with water and simmer. Finely chop the onion and add it to the spinach. Stir occasionally. Quarter the tomato and lightly fry it in a pan with the oil. Add the milk to the spinach, season, and simmer gently. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C. Add the spinach and onion mixture to the tomato slices and fry lightly. Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with cheese. Place in the oven and remove when the cheese is lightly browned. The quantities are for a main course, but as a side dish, it will serve 2-3 people.
