Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g leaf spinach
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion(s)
- Water (salt water)
- pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 4 slices of toast
- 200 g liver sausage with herbs
- 4 eggs, hard-boiled
- 4 slices of cheese (Emmental)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Boil washed spinach in plenty of water for 5 minutes, remove, and drain. Sauté the spinach in oil with the finely chopped onion for 5 minutes and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Spread the sausage on slices of toast, top each with a whole, peeled egg, spread the spinach over the slices, and place a slice of cheese on top. Bake the toast on the middle rack of a preheated oven at 225°C for 10 minutes.
