Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 8 slices of cheese (toast cheese)
  • 8 slices of ham or smoked meat
  • 4 peppers, without stems
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp mineral water
  • 3 cups breadcrumbs
  • 500 ml fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

breaded toast – quick fake cordon bleu

Top toast with all the ingredients, then dip in the egg-water mixture (with salt) and coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil. Serve with various sauces, salads, and tomatoes.
