Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 can/n of tomatoes, approx. 400 g each
- 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp sautéed thyme
- salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 package of tortellini, filling to taste, approx. 250 g each
- 1 class can/n mushrooms, approx. 170 g drained weight
- 1 tbsp, heaped peas
- 100 g cooked ham
- 125g mozzarella
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
quick if you have pre-cooked and frozen the sauce
Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Brown the ground beef in oil. Add the onion and garlic and cook. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Season the sauce with oregano, thyme, pepper, and salt. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions and set aside. Drain the mushrooms and peas and dice the ham. Grease a casserole dish (approx. 7 cm high and 16 cm in diameter) and spread some of the meat sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of tortellini. Add the mushrooms, ham, and peas. Add a layer of tortellini and a layer of meat sauce. Add another layer of tortellini and spread the remaining meat sauce on top. Slice the mozzarella and top the casserole with it. Bake the tortellini at 250 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and ciabatta.
