Baking: Almond and Orange Tortelettes

The perfect baking: almond and orange tortelettes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

* for the shortcrust pastry

  • 150 g Flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Butter

* for covering

  • 100 g Ground almonds skinned
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 pinch Vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground orange peel
  • 2 tbsp Orange jam
  • Rze in my KB
  1. For the dough, knead the ingredients together. Then divide into four parts and shape them into balls. Cover and place in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Then grease 4 tartlet molds and pour in the dough, pressing down one edge.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Mix the almonds, sugar, butter, egg and spices together.
  5. Take the tartelettes out of the oven. Put 0.5 tablespoons of jam on each and then distribute the filling evenly on top. (Jam can come out a little).
  6. Put back in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  7. Then take it out and let it cool down, then remove it from the mold.
