Baking: Fruity Marble Cake with Turns

The perfect baking: fruity marble cake with turns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 4 piece Free range eggs
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 200 ml Advocaat
  • 1 Glass Morello cherries drained
  • 1 piece Vanilla pod (pulp only)
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  1. Make a heavy batter out of flour, sugar, butter, eggs, salt and baking powder. Share this.
  2. Puree the drained cherries together with the vanilla pulp and sugar and stir in half of the batter.
  3. Mix the egg liqueur into the second half.
  4. Grease and crumble a rectangular springform pan and spoon in the dough. Run the back of a knife through the dough and marble it.
  5. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes. (Tooth stick test).
  6. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with egg liqueur cream.
