Baking: Orange Gingerbread

The perfect baking: orange gingerbread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 375 g Flour
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Christmas spice … RZ in my KB
  • 200 g Honey liquid
  • 100 g Syrup
  • 75 g Orange syrup … see recipe orange peel
  • 100 g Orange peel … RZ in my KB
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 8 g Deer horn salt
  • 200 g Chocolate cake icing
  • Orange flavor oil
  • 10 g Coconut oil
  • 1 pinch Ground orange peel
  1. Mix the flour, almonds, cocoa and Christmas spices. Add honey, both syrups and orange peel.
  2. Dissolve deer horn salt in water and add to the other ingredients. Mix everything together.
  3. Now place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Smooth with wet hands.
  4. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Melt the cake glaze in a hot water bath and stir in the orange aroma and coconut oil, then spread it over the cooled cake. Scatter the orange peel over the top.
  6. TIP 6: For a large baking sheet (approx. 30×40) increase the number of people to 4.
  7. Store locked (my baking pan has a lid).
