Orange – Almond – Cookies
The perfect orange – almond – cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
dough
- 275 g Sifted flour
- 1 Msp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 75 g Powdered sugar
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp Orange zest
- 200 g Butter at room temperature
miscellaneous
- 1 piece Egg yolk for brushing
- 1 tbsp Currant jelly
- 50 g Sliced almonds
- Quickly mix all ingredients for the dough into a dough using the all-in method and cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Then roll out the dough about 0.5 cm thick.
- Use a cookie cutter (diameter approx. 6 cm) to cut out circles or the like and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Then brush these dough pieces with the egg yolk, put a dollop of currant jelly in the middle and sprinkle with sliced almond leaves.
- Bake at 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) for approx. 8 minutes.
- Place on a wire rack to cool. Enjoy the meal!
