Baking: Small Nut Wedges for Particle Plate
The perfect baking: small nut wedges for particle plate recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
The dough
- 300 g Wheat flour type 550
- 1 piece Organic egg
- 150 g Natural yoghurt
- 3 tablespoon Rapeseed oil
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
The filling
- 200 g Ground hazelnuts
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 150 ml Cream
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
The dough
- Using the ingredients listed above, knead a smooth dough. If it still sticks to your hands, please use a little more flour.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface. Beat it up twice and roll it out again. Repeat this process at least four times. After the last roll-out, cut the dough into approx. 8 x 8 cm squares.
The filling
- Mix the ground hazelnuts with the cream, sugar and cinnamon.
The finish
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the middle of each piece of dough, hit the opposite ends together and carefully close the dough seams. If necessary, help with a fork. Place the corners on a baking sheet lined with foil or paper.
- Preheat the tube to 180 degrees and bake the pieces for about 20 minutes until golden brown, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy. If there is anything left of the filling, bake small portions of it between the corners. Taste like Christmas.
- Note 6: After I didn’t have quark at home, but really wanted to bake these parts, I used yogurt for the dough. Works really well. If you use less sugar for the dough, you can also fill the corners with spicy ingredients.
