* for the dough
- 4 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 200 ml Oil
- 200 ml Yogurt 10% fat
- 150 g Pouring spelled
- 250 g Spelled flour type 630
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 tsp Grated orange peel
* for the syrup
- 1 liter Water
- 600 g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Orange blossom water
- First prepare the syrup. To do this, put water and sugar in a saucepan, bring to the boil and cook for 5-6 minutes. Then switch off the stove, add lemon juice and orange blossom water, leave the pot on the stove for a few minutes, then remove it and let the syrup cool down.
- For the dough, beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Then stir in all the other ingredients.
- Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Take it out of the oven and immediately pour the syrup over it. (Don’t be alarmed, first the cake drowns in the syrup, but this is completely absorbed.)
- Let cool down completely, then cut into pieces.
