Baking: Wheat Sourdough Bread

Ingredients
 

  • 450 g Wheat flour
  • 50 g Whole wheat flour
  • 15 g Sourdough powder
  • 0,5 tbsp Sugar
  • 0,75 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 260 ml Lukewarm water
  • 0,5 piece Yeast cubes

Instructions
 

  • Mix both flours with the other dry ingredients.
  • Dissolve the yeast in water and add it together with the oil. Knead everything together thoroughly.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes until the volume has about doubled.
  • Then knead again and shape into a loaf. Place this on a baking sheet.
  • Let rise for another 30-40 minutes.
  • Now scratch the surface several times with a sharp knife. Then brush or spray with plenty of water.
  • Place in the oven preheated to 240 ° C (2 runners from below), then switch it back to 200 ° C and bake the bread for about 40-45 minutes.
