Baking: Wholemeal Spelled Bread
The perfect baking: wholemeal spelled bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 175 ml Lukewarm water
- 0,25 Yeast cubes
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Flaxseed crushed
- 2 tbsp Sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
- Mix the flour, salt and sugar. Dissolve the yeast in the water and add to the flour together with the oil. Knead everything together.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place (e.g. on the heater) for about 1 hour.
- Then knead again, kneading in linseed, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.
- Now shape into a loaf, place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 20-30 minutes.
- Then lightly cut several times and spray with plenty of water (including the sheet metal).
- Put the baking sheet into the oven preheated to 100 ° C. Then switch it up to 250 ° C, switch it down to 200 ° C after approx. 15 minutes. Bake the bread for a total of 30-35 minutes.
