Balkan-style cucumber salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 m.-large bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 ml sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the cucumber or use it with the skin on, slice it thinly, and drain it with a little salt. Finely chop the garlic, trim the bell peppers, and slice them into thin strips. Mix with the drained cucumber, stir in the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper. Let the salad sit for about half an hour, then add more seasoning if necessary.
