Feta cream with thyme

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 100 g feta cheese (sheep and goat)
  • 8 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Feta from sheep and goat

Crumble the feta into the yogurt. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Crush the garlic and add it to the oil. Then add the thyme leaves, fish sauce, and tomato paste. Lightly toast and then add to the yogurt-feta mixture. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Tip: Goes well with BBQ or fresh farmhouse bread.
