Indonesian recipe, also called Jumput Pisang Goreng

Puree the bananas and then mix them with the sugar and flour to form a batter. Heat the oil in a deep fryer. It’s hot enough when a wooden spoon dipped in the hot oil no longer bubbles. Then add the banana batter a teaspoon at a time to the hot oil and fry for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove the banana balls and let them drain on a paper towel. If desired, you can also sprinkle them with desiccated coconut. They taste best served piping hot!
