- 210 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 125 g butter, in cubes
- 250 g sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 banana(s), mashed with a fork
- 100 ml buttermilk
- possibly cinnamon

Mix the flour with the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add the butter, beat the eggs, and add the buttermilk. Mix everything together until a smooth dough forms. When the dough starts to come together, add the mashed bananas and continue stirring until everything is combined. Bake at 170°C in a greased loaf pan for 35-40 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Serve with double cream and maple syrup.
