Banana Cake from Sheet
The perfect banana cake from sheet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Cake batter
- 200 g Butter
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 200 g Sugar
- 5 Pc. Eggs
- 300 g Flour
- 2 tbsp Baking cocoa
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
Custard cream
- 2 packet Vanilla flavored cooking pudding powder
- 500 ml Milk
- 250 g Soft butter
also
- 10 Pc. Bananas
- 200 g Chocolate fat icing
Cake batter
- Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Beat eggs under gradually and give in. Sieve and fold in the flour and cocoa.
- Spread the batter evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven at 180-200 ° C and allow to cool.
Custard cream
- Cook the vanilla pudding as usual, but only with half the amount of milk as indicated. Then let it cool down.
- Strain the pudding through a sieve (otherwise the cream will be lumpy) and mix with the butter.

- Apply a thin layer of vanilla cream to the chocolate base. Peel the bananas, cut in half lengthways and cover the base evenly.
- Spread the vanilla cream on the bananas and smooth it out as smoothly as possible (this is best done with a palette that has been heated under hot water).
- Melt the fat glaze and spread it over the vanilla cream, if necessary immediately spread it evenly (also with a clean hot palette or other aid).
