Banana chocolate cake with almond butter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 3 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 banana(s), ripe
  • 1 jar almond butter, approx. 350 g
  • 50 g chocolate

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the melted butter. Stir in the flour and baking powder until smooth. Mix in the milk, almond butter, and thoroughly mashed banana. Roughly chop the chocolate with a knife and add it to the batter. Bake in a loaf pan at 175°C (convection oven) for 60 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil or baking paper after about 40 minutes to prevent the cake from overcooking. Be sure to do a skewer test. The sugar, banana, and chocolate give the cake a pleasant, light sweetness. If you prefer it sweeter, you can use more sugar.
