baked dessert

Prepare a breading station beforehand: 1 bowl of flour, 1 bowl of the beaten egg seasoned with chili flakes, and 1 bowl of panko bread. In a small pan, add at least a thumb’s width of oil and heat. Peel the banana. Trim off both ends and cut the remaining banana into 4 equal pieces. Hollow out one side of the banana pieces with a sharp knife. (This mixture can be used for another purpose.) Fill the openings with Nutella. Roll the filled banana pieces first in flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs. Fry the banana croquettes in hot oil until browned all over. Remove the pieces from the oil and deflate them on a double layer of kitchen paper. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and coat the croquettes in it. Arrange the croquettes on a platter, garnish, and serve. This dessert tastes great hot or cold.
