Banana soup with chilies

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red, fresh
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • Salt
  • lemon juice
  • some butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the garlic and chilies and sauté them in the melted butter (do not let them brown). Pour in the coconut milk and vegetable stock and let it simmer slightly. Meanwhile, peel and puree the banana, and drizzle with lemon juice. Then add the banana puree to the simmering soup, stir, and add salt to taste. Serve hot.
