Banana split with amarena cherries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 4 scoops of ice cream, bourbon vanilla
  • 1 jar cherry(s), (Amarena cherries)
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • some lemon juice
  • some chocolate shavings, for sprinkling
  • some wafer rolls for decoration
  • some sweetener or sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whip the cream with the sweetener or sugar until stiff. Peel and halve the bananas, and drizzle with lemon juice (to prevent them from turning brown). Arrange the banana halves on a plate. Place scoops of vanilla ice cream between them. Drain the amaretto cherries and drizzle them over the bananas and ice cream. Drizzle a little of the juice over the top. Decorate attractively with the whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and wafer rolls.
