  • 400 ml condensed milk, sweetened, cold
  • 0.67 cup(s) cookie(s) (Oreo cookies), chopped, optional
  • 6 strawberries, optional
  • possibly sugar
  • possibly chocolate flakes
  • possibly pistachios

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 20 minutes

without ice cream maker

For the base of all ice cream flavors, whip the cream in a bowl until thickened, but not stiff peaks. Add the condensed milk. Whisk well again until slightly thick but creamy. To make Oreo ice cream, take 450 ml of the base and 2/3 cup chopped Oreo cookies, fold them in, and place the mixture in a suitable container in the freezer for about 6 hours. For strawberry ice cream, chop strawberries into small pieces and heat them with a little sugar until a strawberry sauce forms. Once cooled, mix the sauce with the ice cream base and add chocolate flakes or pistachios. Also place in the freezer for 6 hours. You can create many different flavors with the base. If it’s too sweet for you, you can use a little less condensed milk or more cream.
