Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g mushrooms
- 4 medium-sized onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, pressed
- olive oil
- Salt
- pepper
- Sugar
- 5 sprigs rosemary
- ½ dl vegetable broth
- ½ dl vinegar (basil vinegar, alternatively also Aceto Balsamic vinegar)
- 4 tbsp basil, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Sauté the onions, garlic, and mushrooms (whole or halved, depending on their size) in hot olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and a little sugar. Add the broth, vinegar, and rosemary sprigs. Cover and simmer over low/medium heat for about 10 minutes. Remove the rosemary, add the chopped basil, stir, season again if desired, and let rest briefly.
